architecture studio based in Moscow Shkaf Architects has designed the within a 46 square meter flat for a young man who wants a neutral interior with African influences. The project was to design a living room with a kitchen, an office and a bedroom that reflects the customer's travel around Africa. Wood floors installed reference the color of sand, which is juxtaposed with black and white textures elements and various. customer's own accessories were used throughout, adding a layer of adornment in otherwise downgraded space. White signs on the wall were inspired by a dry and cracked and add texture to the flat surface. The apartment turned out rather quiet with contrasting details and eye-catching - as Africa itself
