The site for this small house Sea Ranch lined with mature evergreen trees and opens to a meadow overlooking the Pacific ocean. The design of the house is inspired by the Japanese simplicity and almost entirely of wood. Single from the outside, it has a continuous band of windows and doors capturing great views and natural light. cedar ceilings and plasterboard walls create a clean, minimalist interior. The house has interesting breakfast nook. It is a space of 21 square feet which is right next to the kitchen, step 6 inches tall. Thank you for embedded steel parts in walls, cedar benches seem to float without support, as does a cedar table. The house on the prairie shows that there is a very calm and pleasant way.
