An old wooden chalet in the Swiss Alps was renovated in this cabin in fresh wood - House Boisset by Savioz Fabrizzi Architects. The advantage was taken of the surrounding landscape. The exterior was left untouched, original parts have been renovated just for security, while the stone foundation supports timber construction above. This rugged exterior is contrasted with a modern interior. The amazing feature of the interior panels of larch with which all the rooms are decorated. Giant windows allow plenty of light and simple interior does not distract attention from the panoramic view of the mountains. It is a new look at how a simple mountain cabin should look, modern, minimalist all comfortable and welcoming.
