Victorian House Remodeled Into Zero Carbon House 1840 -

Designed by John Christophers architects associated as a family home, this house is a winner of the RIBA architectural excellence in 2010. It is a unique zero-carbon project in the inner city Birmingham, UK. The new house was built around an existing two-bedroom Victorian semi-detached house, produces as much energy as it consumes and is twice as large as the original. There are now four bedrooms and a loft studio.
