Casa di Luce by Morrison Dilworth + Walls is located in Dallas, Texas . A small white house inside and outside, it opens onto a courtyard enclosed by floor to ceiling windows that slide and stack the walls and out of the site, creating a seamless connectivity to both the small pool and greenery just beyond the walls of privacy. The exterior of Casa di Luce is hard troweled stucco with Roman travertine rain screen, and the design of the facade was jogged in order to save and have a great big old tree, oak pre-exist on the site. Inside the Casa di Luce has concrete floors and white walls, no filling between the walls of the floors. The bright white interior is designed as a gallery to showcase the owner's art collection.
